2010 OPEN DOOR STUDIOS
Artists of Evergreen
September 18th and 19th, 2010

On September 18-19, 2010 the Open Door Studios will hold its ninth annual self-guided, road tour of the studios of artists in and around Evergreen.  Open Door Studios is a well advertised and well attended annual event that provides prospective visitors with a full color tour booklet, which includes a location map, artists’ bios and photo of their work.  Participants are then free to choose which studios they visit and enjoy a scenic tour of the Evergreen mountain area during the fall color season.  The essence of the tour is to help the public understand the time, talent and techniques involved in the creation your particular medium.

This year, 25 of Evergreen's finest artists invite the public into their unique working studios to see demonstrations, works in progress and finished art pieces. As always, it proves to be a fun and exciting weekend event for both artists and patrons.

Studios will be open from 10 am to 5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Many of our visitors make it a priority to visit as many studios as possible.

In addition, Evergreen National Bank in downtown Evergreen will host a show in their lobby for two weeks prior to the studio tour with an opening reception for the artists on Friday night, September 17th that is open to the public. This is always a fun evening with wonderful food and wine where the artists get to meet new patrons and give them a sneak preview of some of the available art.

Tour books will be available throughout Evergreen. Maps and participating artists will also be listed here in the web site.
